Welcome. Here you will see a variety of handcrafted wooden bowls, vases and drums, and learn how they are made from trees. This centuries-old process, known as woodturning, gets its name from the turning action of the lathe which spins the wood while it is cut by a variety of sharp tools.

Click on a topic at the left to see how this unique art was practiced by the team of Walter Goodridge and Bill Haines.

Bill and I are no longer involved in making bowls as a business, but we want to keep this site online to provide information and a link for our friends to contact us. We continue to offer a limited supply of Taiko drums.
